Offender sentenced in RCMP and CBSA cannabis exportation investigation

A Mississauga, Ontario resident has been sentenced following a joint investigation by the CBSA and RCMP, in the attempted exportation of 37 kg of dried cannabis.

On May 8, 2025, he pled guilty to possession of cannabis for exportation and possession of over 30 g of dried cannabis.

On September 11, 2025, he received an 18-month conditional sentence order.
