Report on Sept/Oct 2025 CBSA Outage

The CBSA has provided the following statement, related to the CBSA outage experienced from September 28 to October 5, 2025:

The CBSA and Shared Services Canada have jointly developed a report on the outages that took place between September 28 and October 5, 2025. A copy has been provided and will also be posted to our website within the month.  It includes a forward looking action plan that responds to the identified impacts and root causes of the outages. The corrective actions will see us strengthening our internal processes; collaborating more effectively with industry and government partners; and working to improve our technology. Our commitment to improve each of these areas will help minimize future outages, reduce system downtime, and further strengthen our contingency plans.

A copy of the report in both English and French can be found here.
