Revision of CFIA directive D-22-04/ Révision de la directive D-22-04 de l’ACIA

Please be advised that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has posted a revision of directive D-22-04: Box tree moth (Cydalima perspectalis) – domestic and import phytosanitary requirements.

Revisions include amendments to the import requirements for Buxus spp. plants for planting from the United States as a measure to protect and maintain the pest-free area status of British Columbia (as recognized in Federal Order DA-2023-24).

The CFIA Automated Import Reference System (AIRS) has also been updated.

Révision de la directive D-22-04 de l’ACIA

Veuillez prendre note que l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments (ACIA) a publié une version révisée de la directive D-22-04: Pyrale du buis (Cydalima perspectalis) – exigences phytosanitaires en territoire canadien et d'importation.

Les modifications apportées incluent la modification aux exigences d’importation pour les plants de buis destinés à la plantation en provenance des États-Unis pour protéger et maintenir le statut de zone exempte d’organisme nuisible de la Colombie-Britannique (reconnue dans l’Arrêté fédéral DA-2023-24).

Le système automatisé de référence à l'importation (SARI) de l’ACIA a également été mis à jour.
