Safe Food for Canadians License Validation

CFIA has advised the Safe Food for Canadians (SFC) Validation Report for January 2021 indicates that the four commodity areas with the lowest compliance rates continue to be honey, maple, dairy, and processed fruits and vegetables.

CFIA continues to emphasize that Safe Food for Canadians licence validation will begin on March 15th for importers of meat, fish, dairy, eggs, processed eggs, processed fruits and vegetables, honey, maple and fresh fruits and vegetables.
