Concerning the initiation of an investigation into the dumping of concrete reinforcing bar originating in or exported from Bulgaria, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.

Ottawa, May 17, 2024

Pursuant to subsection 31(1) of the Special Import Measures Act, the Canada Border Services Agency initiated an investigation on May 3, 2024, respecting the alleged injurious dumping of certain concrete reinforcing bar originating in or exported from the Republic of Bulgaria, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.

Le 3 mai 2024, conformément au paragraphe 31(1) de la Loi sur les mesures spéciales d’importation, l’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada a ouvert une enquête sur le présumé dumping dommageable de certaines barres d’armature pour béton originaires ou exportées de la République de Bulgarie, du Royaume de Thaïlande et des Émirats arabes unis.
