Statement of Reasons: Scope Ruling—Carbon Steel Fasteners (FAS 2023 SP1)

Pursuant to subsection 66(1) of the Special Import Measures Act, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made a scope ruling on September 29, 2023, that National Nail’s CAMO Edge Screws are subject to the Canadian International Trade Tribunal’s order issued on September 2, 2020, in Expiry Review No. RR-2019-002, concerning the dumping of certain carbon steel fasteners from China and Chinese Taipei, and the subsidizing of certain carbon steel fasteners from China.

Le 29 septembre 2023, conformément au paragraphe 66(1) de la Loi sur les mesures spéciales d’importation, l’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada a rendu une décision sur la portée selon laquelle les vis CAMO Edge de National Nail sont assujetties à l’ordonnance rendue par le Tribunal canadien du commerce extérieur le 2 septembre 2020 dans le réexamen relatif à l’expiration RR-2019-002 concernant le dumping de certaines pièces d’attache en acier au carbone de la Chine et du Taipei chinois et le subventionnement de telles marchandises de la Chine.
