Suspension of exports of pet food - China

Please note that, effective immediately, no export certificates for pet food to China (HA2756) are to be signed. This certificate has been suspended until further notice. Shipments currently en route to China should be accepted without issue. Should any shipments be refused upon arrival in China, please inform the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) as soon as possible. We will keep you informed of any developments as the situation evolves.

Veuillez noter qu’à compter de maintenant, aucun certificat d’exportation pour la nourriture pour animaux de compagnie vers la Chine (HA2756) ne doit être signé. Ce certificat est suspendu jusqu’à nouvel ordre. Les envois présentement en route ves la Chine devraient être acceptés sans problème. Si des envois sont refusés à leur arrivée en Chine, veuillez en informer l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments (ACIA) dès que possible. Nous vous tiendrons informés de tout développement à mesure que la situation évolue.
