TCC24-0073 – LVS Releases for August 2024

The CSCB notes that the procedure outlined below follows previous instructions from the CBSA for the F Types where changes have occurred in the Tariff Schedule.

All Low Value Shipment (LVS) releases for the period of August 1, 2024 to August 31, 2024 should be consolidated and must be transmitted to the CBSA by Tuesday, September 24, 2024. The release date should be reported as August 31, 2024 due to the tariff changes outlined in Customs Notice 24-24: Amendments to the Departmental Consolidation of the Customs Tariff: Statistical Changes effective September 1, 2024.

TCC24-0073 - Les mainlevées accordées pour les marchandises de faible valeur pour août 2024

La SCCD note que la procédure décrite ci-dessous suit les instructions antérieures de l'ASFC pour les types F pour lesquels des changements ont été apportés à la liste tarifaire.

Toutes les mainlevées accordées pour les marchandises de faible valeur entre le 1er et le 31 août 2024, devront être consolidées et transmises à l’ASFC au plus tard le mardi 24 septembre 2024. La date de mainlevée devrait être celle du 31 août 2024, en raison des changements tarifaires décrits dans l’avis de douanes 24-24 : Codification ministérielle du Tarif des douanes : Modifications statistiques en vigueur le 1er septembre 2024.
