All clients who use EDI, eManifest, CERS and CARM portals to transmit their trade date.  
Description 

Please note that for maintenance purposes some external clients may not be able to submit EDI messages to CBSA or receive EDI messages from CBSA for approximately 1 hour on:

  • Tuesday, July 22, 2025 between 03:30 and 04:30 (ET) 

Also note that eManifest, CERS and CARM portal clients may be disconnected during this period.

We will update this message if the maintenance extends past the end date/time. We regret the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.

Hours of operation: 

Regular Business Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 ET.  Call the hotline for urgent technical assistance and problems regarding the submission of trade data, e.g. reject messages, via EDI, eManifest and CERS portals. Email support is also available for EDI applications, testing and general inquiries.

After Hours: Weekdays 17:00 – 08:00 ET Saturday, Sunday and all civic and statutory holidays – 24/7. Call the hotline for urgent technical assistance. When calling the hotline, leave a detailed message and an officer will return your call.

For CAD EDI and API

CARM Technical Support Unit (CTSU)
1-800-461-9999 (toll-free from Canada or the U.S.), select your preferred language, press 2 for CARM and press 3 for CTSU.

Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 19:00 ET (closed on statutory holidays and weekends)
