UK and US Announce a Trade Deal

At the G7 Summit being held in Kananaskis, Alberta, United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer and United States President Donald Trump have announced the General Terms for the United States of America and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Economic Prosperity Deal.

"The deal includes billions of dollars of increased market access for American exports, especially for beef, ethanol, and certain other American agricultural exports."

The UK is calling the deal a win for its aerospace and auto sectors, noting they are the only country to have secured such a deal with the US.
