Update on the export of non-salmonid finfish to Australia

Following successful negotiations with Australia, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is pleased to announce that a new joint health certificate has been finalized for the export of eviscerated, de-headed and de-gilled non-salmonid finfish to Australia:

  • Aquatic Animal Health and Sanitary Certificate for the Export of Head Off and Eviscerated Non-Salmonid Finfish Products (including all high-risk species) for human consumption from Canada to Australia (AQAH-1099)

This new health certificate can be implemented immediately.

The Food Export Requirements Library has been updated to provide information on the use of this certificate.

Mise à jour sur l’exportation de poissons à nageoires autres que les salmonidés vers l’Australie

À la suite de négociations fructueuses avec l’Australie, l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments (ACIA) est heureuse d’annoncer qu’un nouveau certificat sanitaire conjoint a été finalisé pour l’exportation de poissons à nageoires autres que les salmonidés éviscérés, étêtés et sans branchies vers l’Australie :

  • Certificat d’hygiéne et de santé des animaux aquatiques pour l’exportation de produits de poissons à nageoires autres que des salmonidés sans la tête et éviscérés (incluant toutes les espèces à risque élevé) destinés à la consommation humaine du Canada vers l’Australie (AQAH-1099)

Ce nouveau certificat sanitaire peut être mis en œuvre immédiatement.

La bibliothèque des exigences en matière d'exportation de produits alimentaires a été mise à jour pour fournir des informations sur l’utilisation de ce certificat.
