Note that an updated version of the Operational Procedure: Verifying compliance to import conditions for shipments of pistachios and pistachio products has been published on Merlin under the Special Projects list of Operational Guidance.
While overseeing the sampling of pistachios imported from the Islamic Republic of Iran, inspectors are now also directed to determine if the importer has other Iranian pistachios in inventory. If there is product in inventory, the inspector will collect information about the products and conduct a targeted assessment of import controls in place.

Veuillez noter qu’une version mise à jour de la Procédure opérationnelle : Vérification du respect des conditions d'importation pour les expéditions de pistaches et de produits à base de pistaches a été publiée sur Merlin, dans la liste des Projets spéciaux des Directives opérationnelles.
Lors de l’observation de l’échantillonnage des pistaches importées de la République islamique d’Iran, les inspecteurs sont désormais également chargés de déterminer si l’importateur possède d’autres pistaches iraniennes en stock. Si tel est le cas, l’inspecteur recueillera des informations sur ces produits et procédera à une évaluation ciblée des contrôles à l’importation en place.
