Updated: Customs Notice 25-22: End of Release Prior to Payment (RPP) Transition Period

10. Importer program accounts (BN15) who wish to enrol in RPP can follow steps outlined in RPP enrollment via the CARM Client Portal and post the security (PDF, 3,059 KB) to enrol in RPP and provide the financial security requirement.

11. Importer program accounts (BN15) that have been removed from RPP transition plan and wish to re-enrol in RPP will be presented with up-to-date system-calculated financial security requirements representative of previous 12-month history at time of enrolment.
Note: this amount may be different than what was presented during the RPP transition period.

12. Importer program accounts (BN15) that had submitted requests for reduction of financial security amounts, and the request was not approved by May 20, 3 am ET, will need to resubmit reduction requests with rationale, if applicable. The previous requests have become invalid and will be closed.
