This is to remind facilities participating in the legacy Canadian Greenhouse Certification Program (CGCP) that the deadline to transition to the revised United States - Canada Greenhouse-Grown Plant Certification Program (GCP) is December 17, 2021. After this date, directive D-96-12 Greenhouse Certification Program for Export of Greenhouse-grown plants to the United States will be repealed, CGCP export certification labels and interfacility stamps will no longer be valid and will be collected by the CFIA. Any applicant GCP facility that has not signed a Compliance Agreement with the CFIA is not authorized under the GCP and will not be able to ship plants to the United States using an export certification label or domestically within Canada using an interfacility stamp.
Authorized GCP facilities that have submitted a request for exemption to the provisions of the GCP (i.e. outdoor production or growth and monitoring for <28 days) may receive provisional approval from their local inspection office, which will be valid until March 31, 2022.Exemption requests will continue to move through the joint review process for formal approval by the Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and the CFIA.

Date limite de mise en œuvre du Programme É-U-Canada de certification des végétaux cultivés en serre
Ceci est un rappel pour les établissements participant à l'ancien Programme canadien de certification des serres (PCCS) que la date limite de transition vers le programme révisé États-Unis-Canada de certification des végétaux cultivés en serre (GCP) est le 17 décembre 2021. Après cette date, la directive D-96-12 : Programme de certification des serres aux fins de l'exportation de plantes de serre vers les États-Unis sera abrogée, les étiquettes de certification d'exportation PCCS et les estampilles inter-installations ne seront plus valides et seront collectées par l'Agence canadienne d'inspection des aliments (ACIA). Tout établissement candidat GCP qui n'a pas signé une entente de conformité avec l'ACIA n'est pas autorisé sous GCP et ne pourra pas expédier de végétaux aux États-Unis en utilisant une étiquette de certification d'exportation ou au Canada en utilisant une estampille inter-installation.
Les établissements GCP autorisés ayant soumis une demande d'exemption aux dispositions du GCP (c'est-à-dire production extérieure ou croissance et surveillance pour <28 jours) peuvent recevoir une approbation provisoire de leur bureau d'inspection local, qui sera valide jusqu'au 31 mars 2022. Les demandes d'exemption continueront de suivre le processus de révision conjoint pour l'approbation formelle par le Service d'inspection de la santé animale et végétale des États-Unis (APHIS) et l'ACIA.
