US East and Gulf Coast Ports Contract to Expire January 15, 2025

American Dock workers’ International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) and port employers the United States Maritime Alliance (USMX) are continuing their negotiations ahead of the contract expiry date of January 15, 2025. If a new contract has not been accepted by that deadline it's expected that job action will begin the following day on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
