US Imposes 25% Tariffs On All Imported Steel and Aluminum

As of March 12, 2025 all imports of steel and aluminum to the United States will be subject to a 25% tariff.

Canada has not yet announced retaliatory tariffs, however, in 2018 when the US imposed tariffs against Canadian steel and aluminum, Canada did respond with counter-tariffs on a variety of American-made products.
