USDA Import Restrictions on Canada due to Avian Influenza

The Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has imposed the following restrictions on imports of avian commodities from zones PCZ-277 in Saskatchewan (effective Oct. 1) and PCZ-278 in Alberta (effective Oct. 2), Canada, due to concerns about highly-pathogenic avian influenza.
