The introduction of new billing cycles with CARM Relase 2 and the alignment of payment due dates is meant to address current complexities concerning debt management for businesses, and ease the administrative burden of managing the billing process. The CARM billing cycle changes will come into effect with Release 2.
On February 22nd, the CBSA walked us through the changes to the billing cycles with clear examples of how the new billing cycles will work in CARM Release 2, what terminology you need to know, and what happens when corrections are made after the CAD has been submitted and before the payment due date.
On March 8th, we will give you the visual of how these transactions will display on the SOA. What is the difference between the SOA and the information that will be available on the transaction report. Why it is important to know the difference between the two reports for payment purposes.
