CFIA Shipment Tracker Update

Further to our original Trade News article CFIA OMIC Number Search is currently unavailable , the CFIA has provided the following update:

The team shared that they have been actively working on a permanent fix. This solution requires extensive testing to ensure the issue is fully resolved and they began testing this past week, and if results are positive, they will proceed with deployment. Specific dates for implementation are still to be confirmed.

In the meantime, IT have identified a temporary workaround for NISC that allows the OMIC number to return inspection results in Shipment Tracker.
