Loonie falls to 2-week low as Europe weighs

Canada's dollar fell to a two-week low against the greenback and the 30-year bond yield touched a record trough on Wednesday as investors worried about Italy's borrowing costs and the Federal Reserve failed to announce new stimulus measures to offset the effects of Europe's debt crisis. The currency fell as low as C$1.0384 against its U.S. counterpart, or 96.30 U.S. cents, its weakest since November 28, as the euro slid to an 11-month low against the greenback...

December K84

CBSA has confirmed that December’s K84 will be due on Friday, December 30th, 2011. Earlier this year, the CBSA advised that no late payment penalties or interest would be imposed if July’s K84 was paid by August 2, 2011. CBSA also advised that July was the last month in 2011 where an extension would be granted. Since that time, the CSCB has asked CBSA to explain their method of determining which months warrant an extension. Their response, in its entirety, is reproduced at the end of this message.,

Government of Canada Welcomes Japan's Move Toward Easing Restrictions on Beef Imports

Minister Lebel meets with U.S. counterparts to discuss transportation initiatives
