2008 Beef and Veal Tariff Rate Quota

Brokers are advised that the 2008 Beef & Veal TRQ's will be accessible commencing Monday December 3, 2007 at 12:00 hrs EST (noon). This includes the MFN Reserve pool for shipments originating in Japan and Uruguay and including those from New Zealand and Australia once their country-specific allocations are filled.

The volume of imports permitted against the MFN Reserve pool for 2008 is 11,809,000 kg. Applications are permitted for shipments that will enter Canada on or after January 1, 2008 and any applications submitted prior to 12:00 hrs EST on Monday December 3rd will be rejected.
