December 9, 2016

Don't miss the first of three webinars on Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) this Monday, December 12 at 12:00 EST!

Presented by Peter Kirby, who discussed the Frito-Lay and Bri-Chem cases in our past webinars, this session will explore the most important aspects of CETA and how it will affect your and your clients' businesses.

Mr. Kirby is a partner at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP in Montreal. His practice covers the spectrum of issues that arise when goods and services are traded across borders, including trade and regulatory compliance issues, trade agreements, trade remedies such as anti-dumping and countervailing duty actions, international commercial arbitration and investor-state arbitration, customs law and export and import controls.

The next session, will take place on Wednesday, December 14th and it will address the nuts and bolts of CETA’s customs rules, such as origin and drawback. And the last of three sessions, on Monday, December 19th, will focus on how CETA will impact four specific sectors: agriculture and agri-food, autos and parts, forestry and forest products, and the knowledge industries: clean-tech, high-tech and ICT.

Each webinar is worth 2 points/credits. We are also offering a 25% discount on a three-webinar bundle.
