C274 - Information Requested
At the most recent CSCB board meeting, it was noted that members remain concerned with contravention C274, especially with the fact that a disproportionate number of penalties under C274 have been issued at a specific port.
The CSCB would like to make representation to the CBSA on this issue, and statistics relating to C274 would be helpful. We would therefore appreciate it if members could provide the following with respect to this contravention:
1. Port which issued the penalty.
2. Party that was issued the penalty.
3. Name of carrier involved.
4. Details of penalty, ie. incorrect release option requested.
