Further to Customs Notice CN16-026 pertaining to the January 1, 2017 Version of the Departmental Consolidation of the Customs Tariff  http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/cn-ad/cn16-26-eng.html, please be advised that the 2017 classification file updates and 2016 classification files expiries as well as the 2017 tariff file updates in CADEX format are now available on the CBSA website at: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/trade-commerce/tariff-tarif/2017/menu-eng.html .

Given that this will be a large update, the classification and tariff code flags have been turned off until January 4, 2017.  

The CSCB is pleased to see that the 2017 CADEX files are now available and that the 2016 classification and tariff code flags won’t be turned off until January 4, 2017. We know that there were a great number of changes, and would like to thank CBSA for the work they have done to provide these updates.
