Clients Affected: All clients and service providers who transmit trade data using EDI.

The Technical Commercial Client Unit (TCCU) office will be closed on Tuesday, December 25, 2018, Wednesday, December 26, 2018 and Tuesday, January 1 , 2019, however, the CBSA external client support will be operating on an “after hours” schedule during this time.

For accounting purposes:

December 25th , 2018 Statement of Account (SOA)

• The December SOA will be transmitted on the 25th of December. The payment due date for the December 25th SOA is January 2rd, 2019 for all provinces with the exception of Quebec where the payment due date is January 3rd, 2019 by 11:30 for clients that pay at the bank.

December (23rd -31st) 2018 and January (1st-4th) 2019 Daily Notices (DN)

• A DN will be transmitted on the 22nd of December, which will contain B3 entries processed and accepted on the 21st  of December.
• A DN will be transmitted on the 25th of December, which will contain B3 entries processed and accepted on the 22nd , 23rd and 24th of December.
• A DN will be transmitted on the 28th of December, which will contain B3 entries processed and accepted on the 25th, 26th, and 27th of December.
• December 29th is a Saturday and the DN will be sent as usual.
• A DN will be transmitted on January 3rd, 2019 which will contain B3 entries processed and accepted December 29th, 30th, 31st and January 1st and 2nd.

Tuesday, December 25th 2018, Wednesday, December 26th 2018 and Tuesday, January 1st 2019 will not be counted in the calculation of overdue B3 entries.
