CBSA Message (TCC19-122) - RESOLVED - Delays in Processing all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

Clients Affected: All clients and service providers who transmit trade data using EDI.

The problem reported below has now been resolved.  All systems are functioning normally. 


We are currently experiencing a delay in processing all inbound and outbound messages for all EDI connections. During this time, the CBSA is able to receive all incoming data but there is a delay in generating outbound messages such as acknowledgements, reject messages and notices E.g. RNS and Completeness.

We are working to resolve this problem and will update this message as soon as more information is available. We regret the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.

We are currently experiencing a delay in processing all inbound and outbound messages for clients that use the Customs Internet Gateway (CIG). During this time, the CBSA is unable to receive all incoming data or send outbound messages such as acknowledgements, reject messages and notices E.g. RNS and Completeness.

We are working to resolve this problem and will update this message as soon as more information is available. We regret the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.

Action Required: Please revert to submitting all trade data electronically.
