CBSA Message (TCC19-125) - Systems Update

Note from CSCB: The CSCB participated in a conference call this afternoon with senior CBSA officials to discuss recent outages and resulting delays. CBSA has indicated that should there be additional delays, they will provide hourly updates. Members who experience delays are asked to advise the Michelle Criger at the CSCB.

This is not an official notification of a system outage or degradation but an advance notice that the CBSA is currently observing similar system patterns which have led to delays in processing EDI experienced over the last few days.

All clients and service providers who transmit trade data using EDI should therefore ensure they are familiar with the contingency procedures, and be prepared to initiate them if required: https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/eservices/contingency-urgence/menu-eng.html

We will continue to provide updates as we progress with our partners towards resolution as well as if this starts to generate systems degradation.
