Corrosion-Resistant Steel Sheet, Notice of Final Determination

On January 22, 2019, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), pursuant to paragraph 41(1)(b) of the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA) made a final determination of dumping of certain corrosion-resistant steel sheet from the People’s Republic of China (China), the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (Chinese Taipei), the Republic of India (India) and the Republic of Korea (South Korea) (subject goods).

The subject goods are usually classified under the following tariff classification numbers:

  • 7210.61.00.00

  • 7210.69.00.20
  • 7212.20.00.00

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal is continuing its inquiry into the question of injury to the domestic industry and will make an order or finding by February 21, 2019.
