CSCB Advocacy Chart Updated

CBSA audits have raised many questions and concerns, among members, with penalties assessed once an audit has been completed. These concerns involve issues such as regional consistency; reason to believe; materiality, and voluntary amendments.

As a result, the CSCB had a discussion with Greg Goatbe, Vice President of Admissibility, CBSA. Mr. Goatbe spoke with Michel Vallée, Carol West, and members of the CSCB board regarding AMPS, especially as it relates to audit and CBSA's reassessment policy.

The CSCB advocacy chart has been updated to include the comments and recommendations that were subsequently forwarded to Mr. Goatbe.

The advocacy chart is found in the members-only area of the CSCB website (login required), under the Advocacy tab.
