Extension of Investigation respecting Dumping and Subsidization of Outdoor Barbeques from the PRC

On 25 June the CBSA extended the investigation respecting the dumping and subsidization into Canada of outdoor barbeques originating in or exported from the PRC.

Pursuant to paragraph 39(1)(a) of the SIMA, the President of the CBSA extended the 90-day period for making a preliminary decision pertaining to all or part of the investigation, due to the complexity of the issues presented by the investigation. Consequently, a preliminary decision pertaining to all or part of the investigation will be made on or before 27 August 2004.
