Message from CN regarding Cutoff Changes

This message is from CN’s Customer Support Centre.

Yesterday, CN announced its new service to handle an additional 125,000 intermodal units a year in Canadian transcontinental lanes.

This change to CN's IMX service offering will yield the following benefits to customers:

· A 20% growth in capacity between the Western Ports and the key centres of Montreal and Toronto

· Over 10% growth in capacity to Domestic Western Canada destinations from Montreal and Toronto

In order to accommodate this new capacity, the following changes to cutoffs will be necessary:

· Brampton gate cutoff to Saskatoon moves to 06:00 (effective Monday, Aug. 22)

· Brampton gate cutoff to Winnipeg moves to 06:00 (effective Monday, Aug. 22)

· Montreal gate cutoff to Saskatoon moves to 20:00 (effective Sunday, Aug 21)
