New President of Canada Border Services Agency

The CSCB welcomes the new President of the Canada Border Services Agency, Ms. Linda Lizotte-MacPherson and looks forward to working with her. Congratulations!  We also wish the departing President, Mr. Luc Portelance, well on his future endevours. The CSCB Board of Directors had the pleasure of participating in Mr. Portelance's retirement celebrations on June 17th.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper has announced that Linda Lizotte-MacPherson, currently President of the Canada School of Public Service, becomes President of the Canada Border Services Agency, effective July 6, 2015.

Other changes in the senior ranks of the Public Service include:

Liseanne Forand, currently President of Shared Services Canada, becomes Senior Advisor to the Privy Council Office, effective July 6, 2015, pending her retirement.

Ronald Parker, currently Associate Secretary of the Treasury Board, becomes President of Shared Services Canada, effective July 6, 2015.

Jean-François Tremblay, currently Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet (Operations), Privy Council Office, becomes Deputy Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, effective July 20, 2015.

John Ossowski, currently Associate Deputy Minister of Public Safety, becomes Deputy Commissioner of Revenue, effective July 6, 2015.

Gina Wilson, currently Associate Deputy Minister of Employment and Social Development, becomes Associate Deputy Minister of Public Safety, effective July 6, 2015.

Benoît Robidoux, currently Assistant Deputy Minister, Economic and Fiscal Policy Branch, Finance Canada, becomes Associate Deputy Minister of Employment and Social Development, effective July 6, 2015.

Les Linklater, currently Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet, Social Development Policy, Privy Council Office, becomes Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet (Operations), Privy Council Office, effective July 20, 2015.

Iain Stewart, currently Assistant Secretary, International Affairs, Security and

Justice Sector, Treasury Board Secretariat, becomes Associate Secretary of the Treasury Board, effective July 6, 2015.
