PC 2005-1503 Order Amending the Canadian Cultural Property Export Control List

A review of the Standing Joint Committee for the Scrutiny of Regulations identified a number of minor inconsistencies in the Canadian Cultural Property Export Control Lists used to identify cultural objects whose export is controlled by the Government of Canada through the issuance of a cultural property export permit.

The Department of Canadian Heritage took advantage of this opportunity to make other amendments to the List that involve semantic alterations to resolve inconsistencies and provide greater clarity.
