PC 2007-1165 General Preferential Tariff Withdrawal Order (Bulgaria and Romania)

Withdrawal of Entitlement

1. Entitlement to the benefit of the General Preferential Tariff is hereby withdrawn in respect of all goods that originate in Bulgaria and Romania.

Exception

2. Section 1 does not apply to goods that were in transit to Canada before August 1, 2007.

Amendments to the Customs Tariff Schedule

3. The List of Countries and applicable Tariff Treatments in the schedule to the Customs Tariff is amended by replacing the references to “Bulgaria*” and “Romania*” with references to “Bulgaria” and “Romania”, respectively.

Coming into Force

4. This Order comes into force on August 1, 2007.
