Strike Called by French Air Controllers

French air traffic controllers began a 36 hour strike on 5 December at 3:00 pm ET; it is expected that this strike will severely disrupt European and intercontinental flights. The strike will run until 1:00 pm ET on Friday, 7 December.

The strike was called to protest plans to harmonize air traffic control across Europe.
