Natural Resources Canada has issued proposed amendments, to Canada's Energy Efficiency Regulations for Air Source Heat Pumps. These amendments, available here, are being issued prior to posting in the Canada Gazette.

These amendments will ensure that consumers are made aware of the cold climate performance of the heat pump they are purchasing.

Both imported goods, and those shipped interprovincially for sale or lease, will be affected by the amendments.
