Chapter 23 was published to remove a recommendation for the following HS Codes from the United States.

23.09.10.1565.07 - Ingredients other than animal origin.

23.09.10.1566.08 - Ingredients other than animal origin.

23.09.10.1569.05 - Containing ingredients other than of animal origin.

23.09.90.1565.07 - Ingredients other than animal origin.

23.09.90.1566.07 - Ingredients other than animal origin.

23.09.90.1569.05 - Containing ingredients other than of animal origin.

23.09.90.1570.07 - Ingredients other than animal origin.

23.09.90.6208.03 - Ingredients other than animal origin.

23.09.90.6209.03 - Containing ingredients other than animal origin.

Please note that all pet food/pet treats/compound pet chews products not containing any ingredients of animal origin to be imported into Canada, now require only a commercial invoice and a list of ingredients.
