Dollar up on rate hike speculation

The Canadian dollar made its biggest one day gain since February 1 Tuesday, as currency traders speculated rising inflation will increase the odds the Bank of Canada will hike interest rates in July.

The dollar was closed up 0.84 of a cent at 104.55 cents US. It reached 104.96 on April 8, its highest level since November 2007...
