CBSA Message (TCC17-144) - Canada Day

Clients Affected: All clients and service providers who transmit trade data using EDI and/or eManifest Portal

Due to the July 1st, 2017 statutory holiday, the Technical Commercial Client Unit (TCCU) of the Canada Border Services Agency will be closed on Monday, July 03, 2017. 

For accounting purposes:

B3 entries processed and accepted July 1, 2, 3 and 4, 2017 will appear on the daily notice (DN) on Wednesday, July 5, 2017.  The exchange rates from Saturday July 1, 2017 through Tuesday July 4, 2017 (inclusive) will remain unchanged.  Monday July 3, 2017 will not be counted in the calculation of overdue B3 entries.

In accordance with TCCU bulletin TCC17-011 REVISED (see attachment) issued January 25, 2017, the payment due date for the June 25, 2017 Statement of Account remains June 30, 2017, with the exception of payments made in the province of Québec.  For payments made in the province of Québec, the payment due date is July 4, 2017.
