PC 2001-2135 and 2136

PC 2001-2135 is the Order Amending the Schedule to the Customs Tariff, 2001-4.

Amendments

1. Tariff item Nos. 3403.19.10, 3405.10.00, 3505.20.00 and 5403.39.00 in the List of Tariff Provisions set out in the schedule to the Customs Tariff are repealed.

2. The List of Tariff Provisions set out in the schedule to the Act is amended as set out in Part 1 of the schedule to this Order.

3. The List of Tariff Provisions set out in the schedule to the Act is amended as set out in Part 2 of the schedule to this Order.

4. The List of Tariff Provisions set out in the schedule to the Act is amended by adding, in numerical order, the tariff provisions set out in Part 3 of the schedule to this Order.

5. Tariff item No. 5403.39.00 in the List of Intermediate and Final Rates for Tariff Items of the "F" Staging Category set out in the schedule to the Act is repealed.

6. The List of Intermediate and Final Rates for Tariff Items of the "F" Staging Category set out in the schedule to the Act is amended by adding, in numerical order, the tariff items set out in Part 4 of the schedule to this Order.

Coming into Force

7. (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.

(2) Section 3 is deemed to have come into force on June 14, 2001.

PC 2001-2136 is the Fruit and Vegetable Remission Order, 2001.

Remission

1. Subject to section 2, remission is hereby granted of the customs duties paid or payable under the Customs Tariff by or on behalf of the company listed in Column 1 of an item of the ... schedule up to the amount listed in Column IV of that item, in respect of the product listed in Column II of that item, if the product was imported for processing during the year listed in Column II of that item.

Condition

2. The remission is granted on the condition that a claim for remission is made to the Minister of National Revenue no later than December 31, 2003.

Coming into Force

3. This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
