Central Import Service Centre Closed due to Power Blackout

The following message is from the CFIA, dated Friday, 15 August.

Please be advised that the Central Import Service Centre will be closed until Monday August 18, 2003 at 7:00 am due to the power emergency situation. All imports request should be directed to the Eastern or Western Import Service Centre.

You may transmit paper instead of EDI for better service considering the instability of our EDI system due to the power failure.

Sorry for the inconveniences. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
