CN Brampton Terminal Update

The CSCB participated at a meeting held yesterday, by CN, to discuss the ongoing issue of containers remaining at CN's BIT for extended periods of time. As well as the CSCB and CN, CIFFA, the Shipping Federation and the CAIE were represented a the meeting.

CN presented statistics (previously provided to CSCB members on October 15) that indicate the number of containers remaining in the yard on Monday mornings has not decreased.

It was also noted that there were problems with the reservation system, due to some carriers attempting to circumvent the system.

CN continues to ask that containers be removed from their yard on a 7/24 basis.
