Notice of changes in CPR's Import/Export Rules Circular 7800

Effective April 25, 2005, Canadian Pacific Railway will increase the fee covering import/export containers requiring set off at any U.S. border crossing from the current $500.00 per container (US Funds) to $ 750.00 per container (USF). This charge is for railway cost recovery when the United States Customs Service or any related U.S. government Agency instructs CPR to remove rail cars from our trains as published in item 780 of CPR's Rules Circular 7800.

Also, the charge covering steel-wheel interchange at Chicago or Detroit per items 750 & 755 of CPR 7800 will be increased to $95.00 per container (USF) effective April 25th.
