Amendment of the CFIA Conditions of Importation of Beef from the United States

On 29 March 2005 the “Certain Ruminants and their products importation Prohibition Regulation” came in force; consequently, the conditions were amended to specify conditions for importation of meat and meat products derived from animals of the family Bovinae (cattle, buffalo and bison), sheep and goats.

The required new certification statements are specified in sections 3.2, 3.4, 3.6, 3.7 and 3.8 of the Conditions for Importation of Meat Products from the United States, amended on 1 April 2005 and available on the CSCB web site at:
