Directive D-98-08, "Entry Requirements for Wood Packaging Materials Produced in All Areas Other Than the Continental United States", has been revised and is available on the web at http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english/plaveg/protect/dir/d-98-08e.shtml.
This revision has been undertaken to clarify enforcement and disposal measures related to implementation of import requirements. The date of enforcement changes of this policy has also been revised. The term reconditioned wood packaging has been defined.
