PC 2006-1557 is the 2-Butoxyethanol Regulations.

The purpose of the 2-Butoxyethanol Regulations is to protect the health of Canadians by setting limits for the concentration of 2-Butoxyethanol (2-BE) in products designed for indoor use. This will reduce human exposure to 2-BE present in cleaning, painting and coating products to less than potentially harmful levels. The concentration limits will apply to products that are manufactured, imported, offered for sale, or sold in Canada.

The concentration limits will come into force one year after the day on which the Regulations are registered for the import and manufacture of products, and two years after the day on which the Regulations are registered for the sale or offer for sale of products.
