Message concerning Outage on 21 December 2006
This message is from the Electronic Commerce Unit at the CBSA.
The following is a message to all Electronic Commerce clients from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA):
The problem that resulted in Thursday's outage of the CADEX and CUSDEC B3 systems has been resolved.
All EDI systems are now functioning normally.
B3 transactions which are due today (Thursday, December 21st 2006) but due to the outage could not be transmitted and accepted by end of day today, should be transmitted and accepted tomorrow (Friday, December 22nd 2006). If those transactions are accepted no later than Friday, clients will not need to apply for a formal waiver of any late accounting penalties.
