The Certified Customs Specialist Designation

We have recently made some changes to the CCS program which will strengthen the CCS designation through broader access, reinforce the value of the CCS designation as the industry standard, and underline the commitment to excellence that the CCS designation represents.

You can now acquire the CCS Designation, if you previously held the CCS designation or successfully completed the CSCB Qualification course or successfully completed the government’s Qualifying or Professional Customs Brokers Examination.

But time is of the essence -- we must receive applications and payment by 31 March 2007!
All you have to do is complete the application form, available on the CSCB web site, at http://www.cscb.ca/c00/ccsdesignation_application2007.pdf .

To maintain the designation, you will have to obtain 20 professional development points each year, including 2007, and pay the annual renewal fee.

Please take advantage of the opportunity to become a CCS designate in time! If you have any questions about the CCS designation, please contact the CSCB national office, at [email protected].
