In Memoriam – Katrina Leavitt

The CSCB was saddened to learn of the passing of Katrina Leavitt of Atlantic Custom Brokers. After a battle with cancer, Ms. Leavitt passed away on Saturday, April 23rd. A memorial service for Katrina will be held on Saturday April 30th at 11:00 am at the Eastern Passage Community Funeral Home, #5 Cow Bay Road, Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Gretna port of entry reopened

Winnipeg, Manitoba, April 26, 2011 – Effective immediately, the Gretna port of entry has reopened and has resumed normal hours of operation, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (7 days a week). The Canada Border Services Agency temporarily closed the Gretna port of entry on April 20 as a result of overland flooding in the United States.
