Satinder has close to twenty years of experience working in the Trade and Customs environment. He provides advice to clients on various customs programs (Valuation, Classification, Origin, Import and Export Controls, and Sanctions).
Satinder has worked with clients to develop duty minimization strategies, mitigate customs risk, customs duty recovery, assessing CUSMA/USMCA eligibility for goods, preparing and submitting Customs Ruling requests to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), helping clients navigate through countervailing and antidumping investigations, customs verification appeals and assisting in Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) hearings.
Satinder worked for the CBSA as a Trade Verification Officer as well as a Trade and Customs consultant for two large public accounting firms.
